About me
Mark Stone, Ph.D. is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for The Texas A&M University System. He was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott as one of four members of the Texas AI Advisory Council.
Mr. Stone is an active member of the Texas Society of CPAs and the Information Technology Council for Higher Education. He also serves on the boards of Training Leaders International, To Every Tribe, and the Lonestar Education and Research Network.
In addition to his professional roles, he is an elder at New Life Baptist Church and an adjunct professor at Spurgeon College.
Stone holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University, a Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary, and both a Master of Theology and a Doctor of Philosophy in Ethics from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
